18 weeks and 3 days

So obviously I am a little behind on my posting. What can I say, it's been a very busy week for us. We started our birthing class this week, so that is what we will be doing every Tuesday night from here to the end of February. Once we are done with that, we will be in the home stretch, and there won't be to much longer to go. Kind of scary when you actually stop and think about it. 

At the beginning of this week, our baby was 5 and a half inches long, weighed in at a whopping 7 ounces, pretty much the size of a bell pepper. He or she hasn't grown much this past week, but this little one has packed on the weight. 2 ounces in 7 days, pretty crazy stuff. The main thing this week is that the little one is moving and flexing his or her arms and legs. Let me tell you, I can agree with that. I have been feeling like a punching bag pretty much everyday, if not multiple times a day. It's not a bad thing, but I'm surprised that I'm feeling this much movement already.

I thought I would post a picture of myself in somewhat normal clothes. Being in scrubs all the time can be kind of deceiving on big the baby bump is getting.

Oh the joy of expanding every which way....I really can't complain, things aren't as bad or big as they may seem at times.
